holiday pix

{Raini wearing the feather headress Peli made in nursery}

{at Grandma's house, while the big girls cook...}

{that same hair on the left side  is ALWAYS sticking out!
so funny}

{Dallas called to remind us to "bring him to the party..."}

{Dad telling stories... and he also had "motorcycle hair."
I'm just sayin...}

{Lance in his famous camo pants (so it just looked like he was
"floating" around all night ... rriigghhtt...
...and another family member who requested not to be
blogged due to... "not being properly attired."  wuss.}

{Grandpa, Bronx, Peli}

{Bronx passed out after dinner}

{Suka and Raini}

{Peli pulling some kinda martial-arts-nascar-evasive-maneuver...
Lance III to the right}

{Becky took the kids to the jumping place (which I don't
even know the name of ;) }

{Here's Wubbs jumping}

{...and him again at the bottom}

{That'd be Peli... he had so much fun.
I wanna go jump there!}

{Peli bottom; Wubbs right}

{Could he BE any more at-home and comfy??!!}

{at home, Peli plays online games like Sesame Street
and Sprout on our laptop... but to play on Grandma's
computer, he had to learn how to use the mouse!
He loves the computer, and he's so smart-
(if I do say so myself...) }

{Grandma apparently put Peli to work...}

{playin' cars}

We had a wonderful holiday!  Thanks Grandma and Beck and everyone!

T-Day Wishes

A blogger named Tiffany, whom I think is a brilliant writer, posted this on her blog and I just loved it.  I think it sums up T-Day perfectly.  Hope she doesn't mind my re-posting it!

May your turkey be perfection.

May your potatoes be fluffy.

May your gravy be devoid of lumps.

May you get the helping of green bean casserole
 with the most crunchy onions on top.

May you be surrounded with loved ones and laughter.

And extra dinner rolls.

May you be surrounded by a lot of extra dinner rolls.

May your heart be as full as your stomach.

May your sadness heal.

May your joy reproduce like rabbits.

May your worries be few.

May you be lucky in love.

May you have Jell-O with cottage cheese and pineapple.

May you be graduated from the kid table.

May your football team win.

May your slice of pie be bigger than average.

May you get your share of hugs.

May your afternoon nap be filled with happy dreams.

May you feel peace.

May you be the first in line at all the Black Friday sales.

And may you remember where you parked.

---
Amen ;)
Hope y'all had a wonderful day!

Thanksgiving Journal

We had a great Thanksgiving. We were as happy as this:
We ordered the LARGE bucket of chicken to eat:
We helped Lance keep his redneck tendencies in check- particularly when he put up this "Fire Alarm"...
We went for a nice, relaxing family drive through the canyon...
We murdered some eggs for our Breakfast Quiche...
The daddies in the family were giving Free Rides to all...
We played some games... most of which ended up in battles like this:
We went through our scrapbooks and admired our baby pictures...
And finally, we made plans for the Boyz' Christmas Stunt:
You're not gonna wanna miss that!
Hope y'all had as much fun and craziness as we did!

THX

Sorry the pic is small- the THX logo is on the screen. The guy on the right is thinking "You're Welcome." And the caption reads, "The other day, I came to the realization that I was probably spending to much time on the internet."
-
This caught me off guard cuz even though I'm online quite a bit... I've never seen the THX logo this way! How 'bout you?

Redneck Thanksgiving

You know you're a Redneck at Thanksgiving if:
  • You've ever had Thanksgiving dinner on a Ping-Pong table.
  • Thanksgiving dinner is squirrel and dumplings.
  • You've ever re-used a paper plate.
  • If you have a complete set of salad bowls and they all say Cool Whip on the side.
  • If you've ever used your ironing board as a buffet table.
  • On Thanksgiving Day you have to decide which pet to eat.
  • Your turkey platter is an old hub cap.
  • Your best dishes have Dixie printed on them.
  • Your stuffing's secret ingredient comes from the bait shop.
  • Your only condiment on the dining room table is ketchup.
  • Side dishes include beef jerky and Moon Pies.
  • You have to go outside to get something out of the 'fridge.
  • The directions to your house include "turn off the paved road".
  • You consider pork and beans to be a gourmet food.
  • You have an Elvis Jell-O mold.
  • Your secret family recipe is illegal.
  • You serve Vienna Sausage as an appetizer.
