This was from back during T-ball, Suka coaching
the team ;)
-
Raini and Peli showing off their harvest....
Gigantic zucchinis!
-
-
On the 24th, Peli got to walk in the parade with his friends-
Here they come...
-
Raini was explaining a whole bunch of things to me...
-
Finally, here they are
(ps- the cop was BLARING his siren super loud, which
was funny cuz it was so early in the morning )
-
Peli's right in the middle in his blue shirt
-
-
Peli at right
-
-
Rain loved the horses... she was talking to them
-
These dudes were also blaring their sirens
-
-
By the time we had driven to where the parade ended,
we had beaten them, so we got to see them walk past again!
-
-
Later, we hung out at the park...
Here's Peli and his friend
-
Raini just invited herself to watch another family's fireworks
-
-
-
This is Raini trying to wink haha
-
SPARKLERS!!
-
-
Our big fireworks presentation
-
-
-
-
Raini telling me I'm not watching the fireworks
-
This was our project today-
This is my old hutch that was always in my bedroom from when
I was a tiny girl. But it has been in storage for many years now,
banged up, dirty... but we fixed it up today
-
Nice, yes?

the Desert.

The view heading out toward our church building...
-
the Brown peeps are enjoying the warmer weather ;)
-
Check out Rain trying to do 'Hang Loose'
-
Peli found another Lightning McQueen cactus...
-
We were enjoying the view...
til 2 guys in a beat-up pickup pulled over to tell us
to watch out- they'd seen some snakes that morning!
uhhh....
-
-
-
Raini throwin' a cheese-face for the camera
-
Peli throwin up some kinda sign.  I'd say Metallica.
-
-
-
the obligatory Peli-sticking-his-rear-out shot:
-
-
-
-
We drove up next to some horsies...
Raini was FREAKING OUT!
-
She was saying "HI!", talking jibberish to them, waving...
-
Later, she even got to touch some- and cried when
we had to leave them!
-
This is the playground at the school!  Peli will be starting
Kindergarten this coming year (cannot believe...)
-
This is the mountain behind our house and by the school-
that white building to the right used to be a church,
but they've turned it into the police station.
(Am I the only one who thinks that's funny?)
