So... a couple of weeks ago, we officially had a Hurricane down here

in the "desert."  In the months we've been here, I believe it's only

rained once, and it was a 5-minute sprinkle.

But then... THIS:

It came down so fast- the rain gutter was overflowing-

HARD RAIN!!

It ended up lasting a couple of days, off and on.

Good for the land.  Bad for playing outside!
