Weekend Visit from Gram & Gramps

Around lunchtime on Friday, we found out that my mom

and dad were comin' for a visit, with Lance III !!

The kids were waiting and waiting, pacing and saying,

"When are they gonna be here..."

And finally... the arrival!

Raini was so excited, she was stomping and marching and kicking

and yelling!  It was hilarious.

We went to McDonald's so the kids could run and play.

They get along soooo well, and have missed each other alot.

Later, they set up some pillows and blankies and started a movie

But they'd worn themselves out, and fell asleep on

the two fold-out kid couches ;)

This was the scene a half hour later...

Saturday, Raini was able to go to a party, and

get a flower painted on her cheek

...which I had trouble getting a picture of!

Raini found a spot where she could hang-  on the diaper box...

Peli combed his hair like this and said it was "clown hair" !!

kicking her legs up and down on the floor)

Yesterday, Peli drew this for me!

It's a teeny bit... backwards, but it's darling!

The weekend was really fun- it was awesome to see my

parents and Wubbs- it was the first chance my dad had to see

our house and neighborhood.  It was hard for Peli (and me)

to say goodbye, for sure.  BUT the kids had a ton of fun!
